I spearheaded the complete redesign of Chap Chap , a fast-growing food delivery startup, using Divi Builder to transform their outdated website into a high-performing, visually engaging platform. The goal was to enhance user experience, streamline online ordering, and align the brand with their mission of “speed meets flavor.” By leveraging Divi’s intuitive drag-and-drop interface, I created a fully customized WordPress site that balances sleek design with functionality. Key features included a real-time food ordering system, dynamic menu displays, and location-based delivery tracking—all optimized for speed and mobile responsiveness. The project also involved integrating WooCommerce for seamless transactions, implementing advanced SEO strategies, and ensuring the site could scale alongside Chap Chap’s rapid growth.

Chap Chap’s original website was plagued with issues that hindered growth:

• Outdated Aesthetics: The design felt generic and failed to reflect the brand’s energetic, modern identity.
• Poor Performance: Slow load times (over 6 seconds) and frequent crashes during peak traffic.
• Clunky Ordering Process: Users had to navigate multiple pages to place an order, leading to high cart abandonment.
• SEO Neglect: Minimal keyword optimization, resulting in low visibility for “fast food delivery [City Name]” searches.
• Mobile Incompatibility: 40% of users reported issues on smartphones, despite mobile traffic accounting for 60% of visits.

Using Divi Builder and WordPress, I redesigned Chap Chap’s site from the ground up, focusing on speed, usability, and brand alignment:

1. Modern Design & Brand Storytelling

• Custom Divi Layouts: Built a bold, food-centric design with mouth-watering hero sections, animated menu cards, and a cohesive color palette (vibrant reds and yellows for urgency and appetite appeal).
• Interactive Menu System: Used Divi’s WooCommerce integration to create a filterable menu with dietary tags (vegan, spicy, etc.) and real-time pricing updates.
• Location-Based Delivery: Integrated Google Maps API to auto-detect user locations and display delivery availability.

2. Performance Optimization

• Speed Enhancements: Reduced load time to 1.2 seconds using Divi’s built-in optimization, Cloudflare CDN, and image compression tools.
• Mobile-First Approach: Designed adaptive layouts with Divi’s responsive settings, ensuring flawless performance on all devices.

3. Streamlined Ordering Experience

• One-Click Reordering: Added a “Repeat Order” feature for returning customers.
• Guest Checkout: Simplified the process with optional account creation post-purchase.
• Live Order Tracking: Integrated a real-time tracker via Divi’s third-party API modules.

4. SEO & Content Strategy

• Keyword Optimization: Targeted high-intent phrases like “late-night food delivery” and “best burgers in [City]” using Yoast SEO.
• Localized Landing Pages: Created city-specific pages to dominate regional search rankings.
• Blog Integration: Launched a “Foodie Tips” blog with recipes and delivery hacks to drive organic traffic.

• The redesign propelled Chap Chap to new heights:

  • 250% Increase in Online Orders within 3 months.
  • 5x Faster Load Times (1.2s vs. 6s), reducing bounce rates by 40%.
  • #1 Ranking on Google for “fast food delivery” in 3 major cities.
  • 95% Mobile Satisfaction Rate (vs. 60% pre-launch).
