I developed the Tulanga website (https://tulanga.com/) entirely from the ground up, leveraging the power of WordPress to create a dynamic and engaging platform. My role encompassed everything from initial concept and design to full implementation and customization, ensuring the site not only met but exceeded the client’s expectations for functionality and aesthetic appeal. By building the site from scratch, I tailored every aspect of the WordPress framework to Tulanga’s unique brand identity and business goals, delivering a highly personalized digital experience.

Building a WordPress site from scratch presented several unique hurdles that required a blend of technical skill and creative problem-solving:

• • Ease of Management: The client wanted a site that was easy to update and maintain without needing extensive technical knowledge, despite its custom nature.

To overcome these challenges, I implemented a series of tailored solutions using WordPress’s flexible architecture:

• • Bespoke Theme Development: I designed and developed a fully custom WordPress theme that reflected Tulanga’s brand identity, ensuring the site had a unique, professional look while remaining lightweight and efficient.

• • Custom Plugin Creation: I built several custom plugins to add specialized functionality, such as interactive elements and dynamic content sections, ensuring these features were seamlessly integrated and easy to manage through the WordPress dashboard.

• • Performance Optimization: I optimized the site’s code, implemented lazy loading for images, and utilized caching strategies to ensure fast load times, even with high-quality visuals and interactive components.
